Wyture is a character from CrossGen Entertainment's Sigilverse. She is the guide character in the Sigil comic series. Her charge is Persha, the daughter of Ingra and Pyrem. Wyture appears as a mysterious female who is always at Persha's side. She offers suggestions to Persha.
Character details
Wyture is always dressed in red and pink with a long flowing translucent cape. She has the curious ability to be in many places at nearly the same time and when you see Wyture you often see ghostly copies of her in other locations nearby, somewhat like the indeterminate nature of an electron in an electron shell.
Wyture, a fragment of Danik, is trying to guide Persha, and help her learn more and become more. Wyture is working in conjunction with Enson who is on the House Dexter side and guiding Seahn. Unlike the other forms of Danik, Wyture shows some hints of compassion and is actually saddened by Laia's death at the hands of Seahn (partly at Enson's instigation). Wyture doesn't do very much, perhaps because Persha is very sharp and hard to fool. However Wyture does break one of Ingra's spells that controls Persha, without Persha realizing who did it.
Once Seahn tries to entice Wyture into his bed but she turns him down saying: I don't think there is enough room there for all of me.
Near the end (episode #35) Wyture attempts to defeat the energy hound unleashed by Danik which is chasing Solusandra but is unsuccessful (suggesting Wyture doesn't have the power of Danik). In response to the appearance of Solusandra and the hound, Enson and Wyture leave Elysia, perhaps for good.
With the CrossGen bankruptcy, Wyture's final fate was left unfinished.
