Woxhall or sometimes Woxall is a census-designated place (CDP) in Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA. It is located on the east side of the Perkiomen Creek, which flows south into the Schuylkill River. The population was 1,318 at the 2010 census.[1] It is served by the Harleysville post office with the zip code of 19438. Woxall is the home town of Bloodhound Gang bass player Jared Hasselhoff, as well as God Lives Underwater guitarist Jeff Turzo. Incidentally, nobody calls it "Woxhall." Woxall acquired it's name when the post office came to the general store. The post office required that the town have a name (previously the residents left the town unnamed). The men stood in the general store discussing what the name of the town should be. There was a hair product (gel for men) that was sold at the store called Noxall. Everyone thought that the little town deserved the name. When it was written down and sent to the post office; the recorded thought that the N was a W. Giving the town the name Woxall.
