From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Worldwide Partners, Inc., (WPI), headquartered in Denver, Colorado, USA, is the world's largest network of owner-operated, independent advertising agencies with over $3,9 billion in advertising billings under management. WPI is the 9th largest marketing communications network in the world, public or private and currently has 95 partner agencies in 55 countries with over 150 offices worldwide.

The agency partners own Worldwide Partners rather than Worldwide Partners owning the agencies. Each partner agency owns 100 shares of Worldwide Partners stock. WPI currently has over 20 clients being serviced worldwide by partner agencies, including Avon, Caterpillar, Columbia Sportswear, Adobe, Guardian Industries, Wal-Mart, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Pfizer, Group Santander and Novartis.

Al Moffatt is President/CEO, Lisa Kettman-Kervinen is Director of EMEA operations out of Finland, and Aw Tai Heng is Director of Asia Pacific operations out of Singapore.

Worldwide Partners started with five founding agencies in 1938 in the Southwestern part of the United States as a way for advertising agencies to share management insights and best practices in the burgeoning ad industry. One of the founding partners, Mithoff Burton in El Paso, Texas, is still a part of Worldwide Partners today.
