From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A woodstave is a narrow length of wood ("stave") with a slightly beveled edge to form the sides of barrels, tanks and pipelines, originally handmade by coopers.[1] They have been used in the construction of large holding tanks and penstocks at hydro power developments.[2]
