Wolgot is a city being built near Siheung south of Seoul. It is also a fishing harbor on the local river, near which numerous high-rise apartment buildings are being constructed. In June 2012 a new subway station was opened on the Suin Line, a new subway line currently open between Line 4 and the Incheon Line of the Seoul Subway system.
