Wojnowo [vɔi̯ˈnɔvɔ] (German: Eckertsdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ruciane-Nida, within Pisz County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Ruciane-Nida, 23 km (14 mi) west of Pisz, and 65 km (40 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village was founded by Philipons, refugees from Russia, who were pursued for their religion in the 1830s and emigrated to Prussia.
