Charles Wix Garner (January 29, 1897 – February 5, 1978) was the head football coach for the Western Illinois University Leathernecks located in Macomb, Illinois and he held that position for five seasons, from 1942 until 1947. His career coaching record at Western Illinois was 13 wins, 21 losses, and 4 ties. This ranks him 13th at Western Illinois in total wins and 15th at Western Illinois in winning percentage.[3]
