Wisznice [vʲiʂˈɲit͡sɛ] is a village in Biała Podlaska County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Wisznice. It lies approximately 28 kilometres (17 mi) south of Biała Podlaska and 75 km (47 mi) north-east of the regional capital Lublin.
The village has a population of 1,559.
