Winston Rekert (July 10, 1949 – September 14, 2012) was a Canadian actor from Vancouver, British Columbia. He won 2 Gemini Awards, one for Best Performance by an Actor in a Guest Role in a Dramatic Series for the TV Series: Blue Murder in 2003 and one for Best Performance by a Lead Actor in a Continuing Dramatic Role for the TV Series Adderly in 1987. He had been nominated for 9 other Gemini awards. His career spanned over 40 years in theatre, television and film.

He was also in Neon Rider, a Canadian drama television series which aired between 1990 and 1995 about a ranch for troubled kids.[1]

Rekert died on September 14, 2012 of cancer at the age of 63.
