Wine-Searcher is a web search engine dedicated to wine. The company was founded in London by Martin Brown in 1999. In 2006, the operation was shifted to Auckland in New Zealand. As of December 2013, the site listed more than 43,519 wine merchants/retailers offering 6 million products.[1]

Apart from its core function of being a search engine for wines, Wine-Searcher can be used to search for wine related information such as grape varieties, regions and appellations, and wine news.

Wine-Searcher offers some functionality free of charge, but does not display all search hits to non-paying users. Full functionality requires subscription and payment.
