William Vainqueur (born 19 November 1988) is a French footballer who plays for Belgian Pro League club Standard Liège as a midfielder.[2]
Career
Having progressed through the youth system at Nantes, Vainqueur made his senior debut during the 2006–07 Ligue 1 season.[1] In August 2011, he was transferred to Standard Liège and signed a five-year contract with the Belgian club.[3]
During a league game against Lierse on 1 December 2013, Vainqueur was sent off in bizarre fashion after kicking an opponent in the face with a donkey kick.[4]
