Wilki [ˈvilki] (German: Birkenau) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Braniewo, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Braniewo and 79 km (49 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
