Wilhelm Alzinger

Wilhelm Alzinger (August 11, 1928 in Vienna – January 2, 1998 in Vienna) was an Austrian archaeologist.
He was a co-worker of the Österreichisches Archäologisches Institut from 1952 to 1993. He was professor at the University of Vienna and undertook excavations at Ephesus, Agrigento, Aigeira and Aguntum.
