Wilfrid Zogbaum

Wilfrid Zogbaum (1915, Newport, Rhode Island - January 7, 1965) was an American sculptor.
Life
His father was admiral Rufus F. Zogbaum, Jr., his grandfather was Rufus Fairchild Zogbaum.[1] He studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, and Yale University. He studied in New York City, where he studied with John Sloan, and Hans Hofmann. He studied in Europe. He served in the Army Signal Corps, in World War II. He was a commercial photographer. He started a sculpture studio in Montauk.[2]
His papers are held at the Archives of American Art.[3]
