Wildlife Park 2 (Called Wildlife Zoo in the US Release), is a business simulation game released in June 2006 in the United Kingdom, and in July 2006 in the United States. It is a sequel to Wildlife Park. Two expansion packs have been released: Crazy Zoo and Marine World. However, only Marine World was released in the US bundled with the original as Wildlife Zoo Deluxe.

Gameplay

Wildlife Park 2 is a 3-D business simulation game involving building, maintaining, and amending a zoo to keep a steady income and happy visitors. The game has sixty five different species of animal and thirty species of plant, including such diverse creatures as crocodiles, pelicans, and gorillas. Aquatic creatures include the giant squid and orca. Food production is a key part of certain missions, as well as the ability to train specific animal species to increase their sales value. Herbivores can eat from plants provided the plant produces food resources, which can be an easy way to save money. Gene resources on certain maps, when gathered by use of the research lab, can allow you to clone prehistoric animals, virtually all of them having a 6 Star Rating (Some exceptions include the Smilodon, which is only 5 Stars). The designs of the Gastornis, Basilosaurus and Entelodont are based on their depictions from Walking with Beasts almost exactly while the Woolly Mammoth is a combination of the Wild New World, Before We Ruled the Earth and What Killed The Mega Beasts designs and the Smilodon is based on its Wild New World and Monsters We Met designs. On the cover 2 extra animals are shown they are a Cockatoo and an Indian Elephant it is possible they were deleted from the final game.

Crazy Zoo

Wildlife Park 2: Crazy Zoo is the first expansion pack for Wildlife Park 2, released on March 30, 2007. The expansion contains 31 new animals and plants, like the meerkat, bison and red panda, as well as a number of new buildings play options, including helicopter rides, shark cages and rodeo clowns.

Marine World

Wildlife Park 2: Marine World is the second expansion pack for the video game Wildlife Park 2, released on August 31, 2007. It focuses on marine life and contains around 20 new underwater creatures, including Marlin, Leatherbacked turtle, Manatee, Humpback Whale and Narwhale. This expansion pack has no extinct animals except the rare Frilled Shark.
