Wild Women is a 1918 American Western film directed by John Ford and featuring Harry Carey. The film is considered to be lost.[1]

Plot

Cheyenne Harry and some of his friends are mysteriously kidnapped and taken to a desert island, which turns out to be teeming with energetic native women. Harry pursues the island's appealing princess, only to be pursued himself by the less-appealing queen. In the end, the madcap hijinks are revealed to be dreams, the product of Harry's legendarily prodigious drinking.

Production

Wild Women was a Universal Special release in February 1918. It was a silent film on five reels, part of the Western-themed "Cheyenne Harry" series of film featurettes.[2]
