Wil Albeda (1977)

Wil Albeda (born 13 June 1925, Rotterdam) is a former Dutch politician.

Albeda was an ARP and CDA politician who had once described himself as a trade unionist. He had long worked at the Christian Federal Building and the CNV. Then he was professor of socio-economic policy in Rotterdam. Albeda was interested in international issues. From 1966 he was member and chairman from 1973 of the ARP group in the Senate. He was Minister of Social Affairs in the first cabinet Van Agt. After his ministry he returned to the Senate and later became chairman of the Scientific Council for Government Policy.
