Wieszczęta [vjɛʂˈt͡ʂɛnta] is a village in Gmina Jasienica, Bielsko County, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It has a population of 487 (2009) and lies in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia.

The village was created in the 16th century.[1] It was first mentioned in 1577.[2] It belonged then to Skoczów-Strumień state country, however after it was rebought by Adam Wenceslaus, Duke of Cieszyn in 1594 it since then belonged to the Duchy of Teschen.

There is a Lutheran church in the village.
