Wierzno Wielkie [ˈvjɛʐnɔ ˈvjɛlkʲɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Frombork, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Frombork, 14 km (9 mi) south-west of Braniewo, and 74 km (46 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 180.
