Wierzbięcin [vjɛʐˈbjɛnt͡ɕin], German: Grünhagen, is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Słupsk, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) west of Słupsk and 114 km (71 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1945 the area of Farther Pomerania, where the village is located, was part of Germany. For the post-war history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
The village has a population of 86.
