Widzino [viˈd͡ʑinɔ] (German Veddin) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kobylnica, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Kobylnica, 7 km (4 mi) south-west of Słupsk, and 109 km (68 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1648 the area was part of Duchy of Pomerania, 1648-1945 Prussia and Germany. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
