The Wideboys (Jim Sullivan & Eddie Craig) are a British remix and production duo of house, bassline and garage music.
The Wideboys are managed by Matt Waterhouse from MWR/Hyperactive. In 2008, they signed to Sony ATV Music Publishing. Prior to this, The Wideboys had been signed in various deals with the likes of Warner, Universal and AATW. The Wideboys found a home with Skint/Loaded Records in 2010. They won Best Dance Act at The Urban Music Awards in 2008,[citation needed] and also won Best Newcomer at the 2000 UK Garage Awards.[citation needed]
They have worked on projects with Def Jam USA such as on Rihanna's album Good Girl Gone Bad. Two of their songs have made the UK charts, "Sambuca" which reached #15 in 2001 and "Daddy-O" which reached #32 in 2008.[1] In 2009, The Wideboys produced the Club Mix of the Comic Relief single "Just Can't Get Enough" by The Saturdays which reached #2 on the UK chart, selling over 60,000 copies in one week.[citation needed] They have also worked on original productions of two #1 albums by Roll Deep and The Wanted.[citation needed] They have remixed songs of many other bands and artists throughout their career.
The Wideboys reached the Top 5 on the charts with the song "Thinking It Over" which they produced for Liberty X. It gained double platinum status in the UK.[citation needed] They have performed on television shows such as Big Brother's Big Mouth, Top of the Pops, The Nokia Green Room, The Big Breakfast, Liquid News and Popworld with their club hits "In the VIP", "Sambuca", "Daddy-O" and "Snowflake".[citation needed]
