William Frederick "Whitey" Wietelmann (March 15, 1919 – March 26, 2002) was an American professional baseball player who played infielder in the Major Leagues from 1939–1947 for the Boston Braves and Pittsburgh Pirates. The native of Zanesville, Ohio, stood 6 feet (1.8 m) tall and weighed 170 pounds (77 kg) during his active playing career.
He was also an MLB coach for the Cincinnati Reds (1966–1967) and San Diego Padres (1969–1979) for 13 seasons, after a long tenure as a minor league coach in the Pacific Coast League, including many years of service with the PCL Padres. He died in San Diego, California, at age 83.
