The White Sands pupfish (Cyprinodon tularosa) is a species of fish in the Cyprinodontidae family. It is endemic to the Tularosa Basin in southern New Mexico, in the Western United States. They are only found in two springs and two small streams in southwest New Mexico. They are found nowhere else in the world.
The White Sands Pupfish has dark eyes and silver scales. They grow from 1 3/4 inches to 2 1/2 inches. Adult males have a slight blue color.
