The White-browed Shortwing (Brachypteryx montana) is a species of chat. This species is now classified in the family Muscicapidae.
It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
