Wheatus is the self-titled debut album by American alternative rock band Wheatus. The album was released on August 15, 2000. Three singles were released from the album - "Teenage Dirtbag," which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart; "A Little Respect", which peaked at #3; and a double A-side single of "Wannabe Gangstar" and "Leroy", which peaked at #22. The album makes two references to Iron Maiden, and the single version of "Wannabe Gangstar" features Bruce Dickinson, their vocalist. A version of "Punk Ass Bitch" with different lyrics was used as the ending theme for Jackie Chan Adventures. The album was certified gold in the UK.
