Westman Region

Westman is a region in the southwestern area of Manitoba, Canada. The area's major service center is the city of Brandon. The region comprises four of Statistics Canada's census divisions of Canada, Manitoba Census Divisions No. 5, No. 6, No. 7, and No. 15. Together they have a land area of 27,242.06 km² (10,518.22 sq mi) and a population of 108,868 as of the 2011 census.
The major industry of Westman is agriculture. However there is also some oil production in the southwest area of the region. The town of Minnedosa is home to one of Canada's largest internet pharmacies.
