Hovatter's Wildlife Zoo, also known as the West Virginia Zoo, is a zoo in Kingwood, West Virginia. The zoo is open seasonally from April to September, and on weekends in November. Opening and closing dates vary from year to year.
Animals at the zoo include deer, himalayan black bear, grizzly bears, cougars, African lions, Bengal tigers, Sumatran tigers, leopards, bobcats, spider monkeys, chimpanzees, Japanese macaques, olive baboons, grivet monkeys, capuchin, ring-tailed lemurs, emu, capybara, aoudad, bison, camels, raccoons, prairie dogs, African pygmy goats, miniature donkeys, pot-bellied pigs, rattlesnakes, turtles.[2]
