Welwitsch's bat (Myotis welwitschii) is a species of vesper bat.
Distribution
It is found in Angola, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Habitat
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.
