"We're No Here" is a song by Glaswegian Post-rock band, Mogwai.
Overview
It is one of the more basic, heavier, rock-oriented songs from Mr. Beast, often being used as a set closer - usually ending in a sonic assault of feedback.
Trivia
- It is featured on the Miami Vice soundtrack and in the Torchwood episode "Cyberwoman", as well as Top Gear Season 9 Episode 3's American Roadtrip.
- We're No Here was also used in the French TV series Les Revenants, for which Mogwai wrote the soundtrack. However, the track does not feature on this album.
- The song's title originated from a football chant, "Martin O'Neill!" (the former manager of Celtic F.C., Mogwai's favorite football team), which was misheard by Martin Bulloch's younger brother as "We're No Here!".
