Wayne Tinkle (born (1966-01-16)January 16, 1966) is an American college basketball coach. He is currently the head men's basketball coach at the University of Montana-Missoula. He served as an assistant for five years prior to becoming the head coach.^[1]^[2]

He played professionally for 12 seasons until 2000, including stints in the CBA, IBL and in Sweden, Spain, Italy and Greece.^[2]

Personal life

Wayne is married to Lisa McLeod, a former University of Montana women's basektball player.^[3] Wayne and Lisa have two daughters; Joslyn, who played for Tara VanDerveer's Stanford Cardinal women's basketball team, and Elle, a sophomore for Kelly Graves' Gonzaga Bulldogs women's basketball team, and a son Tres, who plays basketball at Missoula Hellgate High School in Missoula, Montana. ^[3]
