Wayne Laryea (born 11 April 1952) is a British former television actor. Wayne is best known to American audiences for his role as Harmony in The Bugaloos (1970). British viewers may remember him as Johnny in Pipkins (1973). In 1978 he auditioned to replace John Noakes on the BBC children's programme Blue Peter.[1] Also in 1978 Laryea starred in the BBC groundbreaking black drama Empire Road. He also starred in Crown Court 1978 as Bryon Whittaker.
Laryea is no longer acting but went on to become anchorman of regional news programme Channel Report between 1989 and 1991.
