Along with Scott Hirsch, David Bunde, Berns Rothchild, and Noah Schankler, Kasserman founded the New York Collective For The Arts in 2004. He brought the organization's first event, a festival of 10-minute plays, back to his native New Jersey, where he staged the festival at the Hostetter Arts Center of his alma mater, The Pingry School. He is currently NYCollective's executive director.[4]

In 2007, Kasserman landed a role on SpikeTV's The Kill Point as technology expert Tonray. Later that year, he was cast as mechanic Dylan Fass in NBC's continuation of the 1980s hit television show Knight Rider. He also has had roles on individual episodes of Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and The Jury.[5]

In 2013, Kasserman was accepted into the W+K12 program, an experimental advertising agency masquerading as an experimental advertising school deep within the walls of Wieden+Kennedy Portland.
