Wayne Blackshear (born February 11, 1992)[1][2] is an American college basketball player for the University of Louisville.

Blackshear graduated from Morgan Park High School in Chicago, Illinois. Blackshear averaged 7.6 points per game playing for the Louisville Cardinals in 2012–13. He won 2013 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament with Cardinals in 2012–13.

High School

Blackshear played basketball for Curie Metropolitan High School before transferring to crosstown rival Morgan Park High School.[3] He earned 2010 and 2011 first team All-State recognition from the Chicago Tribune,[4][5] and was 2011 Chicago Sun-Times Sun-Times Player of the Year.[6] He was a 2011 McDonald's All-American and a Parade All-American.[7][8]
