Waylon Live is an live album by Waylon Jennings, released on RCA Victor in 1976. Recorded at the Dallas and Opry House in Austin and with a setlist that selects the best songs from Jennings' outlaw era, this serves as a greatest hits album of sorts, and is one of Jennings' most highly praised releases. The songs covered by Jennings on the album include the well-known folk song "The House of the Rising Sun", as well as "Me and Bobby McGee", one of Kris Kristofferson's signature songs. The record itself peaked at #1 on the country charts, a statement on the influence and esteem of the outlaw movement in country music at the time. Waylon Live was re-released in 1999 through Buddah Records on CD as a single disc with nine bonus tracks and in 2003 as a double CD with a total of 42 tracks entitled Waylon Live: The Expanded Edition.
