Washington Military Department

The Washington Military Department is a branch of the state government of Washington, United States.
The Washington Military Department contains four elements: the Washington Army National Guard, the Washington Air National Guard and Washington State Guard. While the Army and Air Guard, forming part of the Washington National Guard, can be mobilized to federal service, the WSG is only utilized within Washington and is never deployed out of state.
