Warwick Saupold (born 16 January 1990 in Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian right-handed pitcher. After playing for two seasons with the Perth Heat of the Australian Baseball League (ABL), Saupold signed with the Detroit Tigers organization in Major League Baseball.
In the 2011–12 Australian Baseball League season, Saupold led the ABL in innings pitched (70) and posted a 1.41 earned run average, setting an ABL record. Saupold also struck out 53 batters, allowing just 43 hits, 22 walks, and two home runs.[1] Saupold was invited to the 2011 Australian Baseball League All-Star Game.[2][3]
