Warm Springs Creek is a stream or arroyo, and tributary to Murrieta Creek, in Riverside County, California. Its source, formerly at an altitude of 1580 feet in Diamond Valley is now under Diamond Valley Lake at 33°40′31″N 117°04′03″W / 33.67528°N 117.06750°W / 33.67528; -117.06750, now is at an altitude of 1460 feet, west of the West Dam in Domenigoni Valley west of Diamond Valley Lake. It descends southwestward through Domenigoni Valley for 3 miles, past the site of the former mining settlement of Leon, and runs near the intersection of Leon Road and Scott Road. There at 1400 feet, it descends into a canyon running south southwestward, passing east of the Murrietta Hogbacks, where an unnamed arroyo that drains French Valley to the northeast joins Warm Springs Creek. It continues past Murrieta Hot Springs on its east bank, running under Murrieta Hot Springs Road. After it passes under Interstate 15, it runs into its confluence with Murrietta Creek in Temecula Valley at an elevation of 1033 feet in Murrieta, California.[1][2]
