Waratah railway station is a station on the New South Wales Main Northern Line located in the Newcastle suburb of Waratah. The station consists of 2 platforms and is served by NSW TrainLink's Hunter line. It opened on 9 March 1858.[1]

Platforms and services

The station is served by approximately two trains per hour on weekday off-peak and one train per hour on weekends, with additional services in peak hours. Limited stops services to Telarah, and services to Dungog or Scone also stop at Waratah.
