Wang Fu (Han Dynasty)

Wang Fu (Chinese: 王符, c. 78 - 163) was a philosopher from Zhenyuan County, Gansu, Gansu, China. He is best known for the text Qian fu lun ("Comments of a Recluse"), which endorsed the Confucian model of government.
According to the Hou Han Shu, he was a friend of Ma Rong, Zhang Heng, Cui Yuan and other scholars. He did not pursue a court career and composed his work in seclusion (HHS, 王充王符仲長統列傳).
His tomb (Chinese) is situated in Zhenyuan, being one of the protected sites of the provincial level.
