Waiparous is a summer village in Alberta, Canada. It is located along Highway 40, at the crossing of Ghost River, west of Cochrane.

Demographics

In the 2011 Census, the Summer Village of Waiparous had a population of 42 living in 21 of its 43 total dwellings, a -14.3% change from its 2006 population of 49. With a land area of 0.41 km2 (0.16 sq mi), it had a population density of 102.4/km2 (265.3/sq mi) in 2011.[2]

The population of the Summer Village of Waiparous according to its 2007 municipal census is 72.[3]

In 2006, Waiparous had a population of 49 living in 33 dwellings, a 10.9% decrease from 2001. The summer village has a land area of 0.41 km2 (0.16 sq mi) and a population density of 120.1 /km2 (311 /sq mi).[4]
