Wabu Lake(Chinese: 瓦埠湖; pinyin: Wǎbù Hú) is a freshwater lake in China, it is located in center of Anhui Province, situated in the south bank of the middle reaches of Huai River. The area of the watershed is 800 km 2, with an elevation of 19 m, its length makes 37.3 km and the greatest breadth from east to west is 11.56 km ( the average breadth makes 4.37 km ). The surface is equal to 163 km 2, and volume is about 3.94×108m3. The maximum depth of the Wabu Lake is 4.15 m, and the average - 2.42 m.[1]
