WZ2523 (sometimes referred as Frankfort All Hazards or WZ252) is a NOAA Weather Radio station that serves The capital of Kentucky, Frankfort, Kentucky and surrounding cities including the eastern part of the Louisville-Jefferson County, KY-IN Metropolitan Statistical Area and western Lexington-Fayette. It is programmed from the National Weather Service forecast office in Louisville, Kentucky with its transmitter located in Frankfort. It als broadcasts some bulletins from The National Weather Service forecast office in Wilmington, Ohio. It broadcasts weather and hazard information for Anderson, Franklin, Henry, Owen, Scott, Shelby, and Woodford counties in northern Kentucky. This also includes Carroll county in northern Kentucky.
