WYKT is a radio station in northeastern Illinois. It is licensed to Wilmington, Illinois and broadcasts hard rock with an effective radiated power of 1,300 watts at 147 meters height above average terrain.[1]
WYKT previously aired a Top 40 format and was branded as "My 105.5", before switching to its current format on September 15, 2009.[2] From 2003 to 2007 WYKT aired a 60s and 70s Oldies format branded as "The Pickle".[3] Prior to 2003 WYKT aired a Rock format similar to its present format as "The Kat".[4]
