WXMZ (99.9 FM, Formerly Z106.3) is a radio station licensed to serve Hartford, Kentucky. The station is owned by Radio Active Media, Inc.. Currently features a very popular lunch show called Lunch at the Z with Jerry Wright It airs an Oldies music format.[2]
The station was originally WLLS (LS 106), playing a Top 40 format. It was simulcast on WLLS-AM (now WAIA). The calls were switched to WKHB on October 1, 1996. The current calls were assigned by the Federal Communications Commission or March 19, 1999.[1]
On September 27, 2012, WXMZ moved from 106.3 MHz to 99.9 MHz.
