WSYL (1490 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a country format. The station is owned by Georgia Eagle Broadcasting, Inc. and features programing from Jones Radio Network and Motor Racing Network.[1]
At one time, WSYL-FM was a student-run station at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts, broadcasting at extremely low power (0.01 watt) on 97.7 FM and highly popular during the 1970s and 1980s. WSYL (With Songs You Like) had a wide variety of programming, from theater and jazz to rock and roll.
