WPTL (920 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Country music format, including Cumulus Media Networks Real Country, and licensed to Canton, North Carolina, USA. The station is currently owned by Skycountry Broadcasting.
WPTL has aired the football games of Pisgah High School since 1992, when WWIT dropped them. The station also airs Pisgah basketball and baseball.[1][2]
Frank Byrd, formerly of WWNC, is the morning host.[3]
