WNUB-FM (88.3 FM) is a radio station licensed to serve Northfield, Vermont. The station is owned by The Trustees of the Norwich University. It airs a College radio format.[1]

The station has been assigned these call letters by the Federal Communications Commission since January 27, 1982.[2]

This station has been serving Norwich University and the Dog River Valley area since the fall of 1967. WNUB-FM was initially assigned to 89.1 MHz and limited to a power of 10-watts. It operated out of what is now an office on the top floor of Jackman Hall, the University's administration building, with the antenna atop the building which was the tallest structure on campus. It was constructed by a small team of student volunteers led by a young Electrical Engineering student David Bonney '70. George Turner, then the school's Public Information Officer was the driving force behind securing the license and equipping the facility.[citation needed]
