History
The station was assigned the call letters WGBV on 1995-01-04. On 1997-02-14, the station changed its call sign to WGBV then on 2003-09-03 to the current WLYE.[3]
Ownership
In January 2002, Forever Broadcasting Inc. (Carol Logan, president) reached an agreement to purchase this station (then known as WGBV-FM) from Royse Radio Inc. (Henry Royse II, owner) for a reported sale price of $416,412.[4]
