Station Sold

On January 25, 2010, Disney announced that it is selling the station to Hampton Roads area religious broadcaster Chesapeake-Portsmouth Broadcasting for $350,000. [2] In the interim, Disney took WHKT, and five other stations slated to be sold, off the air on January 22; the station had previously carried the company's Radio Disney network.[3][4]

The sale was listed as "consummated" by the FCC as of May 5, 2010.
